Picture this: 95 degrees, 100% humidity, no subways because the tracks are flooded, no open taxis, and millions of people on a tiny island walking to work...not pretty huh? Welcome to today, Wednesday, August 8th, 2007...
After a flash torrential rain storm last night (that i can barely remember), NYC was "crippled" today and left millions of people stranded with no public transportation. I walked 24 blocks to work this morning, and ended up with 3 new blisters on my feet (I was wearing flats, mind you!!). I'm really hoping that the subway is open going back home.
