Sorry folks for the unoriginal title to this post! I just got back from a 6 day stay in Seattle late last night. All Microsoft newbies are required to go thru a 4 day New Employee Orientation training in Redmond; aka the "Motherland." No, I didn't see Bill, but I did get to experience a few rainy Seattle days, and a handful of gorgeous and sunny days (see pic above, no clouds!!).
And just to round out my trip, US Air has lost my baggage. No word yet on when/if it will arrive!
Pics are uploaded here. They're a little tourist-y, but there are a few pics of work colleagues. And of course, I had to take a cheezy pic of the Microsoft sign! All in all it was a great time in the PNW!
